Domain Privacy
Hide domain ownership details and preserve your privacy online
Protect your privacy for just 42p per month, per domain.
When you register a domain name, your private contact information, such as your address, is publicly accessible in the online WHOIS database.
Domain Privacy protects your personal information from spammers, scammers, and other unwanted attention by replacing all of your private contact information with ours! Domain Privacy is available for new, current and transferred .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info domain names.

How to Register a private domain
Registering a domain name privately is easy. Simply use the domain checker below to check the availability of your chosen domain Name. You will be given the option of enabling Private Domain Registration during the checkout process for just £4.99 a year - that's less than 42 pence per month.
How Private Domain Registration works
Protect your privacy
Signing up for Domain Privacy is similar to "unlisting" your phone number in the phone book. When you sign up for Domain Privacy, we replace all of your personal information in the WHOIS database, including your name, physical address and telephone number, with our own information, giving you the peace of mind that your private information stays private.
Avoid email spam
When Domain Privacy is enabled on your domain name, your email address is replaced with an automated address unique to the Domain Privacy service. This prevents spammers, scammers and data miners from harvesting your data for addition to spam lists.
Decrease junk postal mail
Your physical address is replaced with our own in WHOIS, protecting you from unsolicited postal mail.
Retain control of your domain name
Your personal details will be hidden from view to the public, but you will retain full control of your domain name. Your ability to modify your domain data, purchase new services and renew your domain name will remain unaffected. What's more, you can toggle Domain Privacy on and off whenever you like, at no additional cost.
Existing registrations

Domain Privacy can be purchased for domains you have already registered. The service will run from the point at which you upgrade, until the domain's current renewal date. To purchase this service for an existing domain name, simply login to your Control Panel and choose "My Domain Names", followed by the domain name you wish to upgrade, followed by "Upgrade Options".
.uk Domain Names
Domain Privacy is only available for domain names ending in .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info. The .uk domain registry, Nominet UK, provides a similar service known as "Whois Opt-out". This service is only available to individuals and allows registrants to hide their address details from public view. When purchasing new domain names from Namesco, Whois Opt-out can be enabled on the registrant details page prior to check out. For existing domain names, please login to your Control Panel and choose "Whois Privacy".
